What Refinishing Includes
Refinishing sands down to clean wood, then rebuilds the floor with stain (optional) and protective finish coats. It is the right choice when the finish is worn through, the color needs to change, or there are deep scratches and pet wear. Our process follows the standards recommended by the National Wood Flooring Association (NWFA), the industry authority for wood flooring installation and finishing.
- Dustless sanding (99% dust capture at the source)

Refinish vs. Recoat
Recoating (screening) adds a new protective layer on top of an existing finish. Refinishing sands to bare wood. If the finish is peeling, the stain is damaged, or you want a different color, refinishing is usually the better option.
